PRAANA WORKSHOPS
From breath to the encounter
Aimed at all Congress participants and anyone interested in exploring the connections between breath-body-memory-expression-communication-encounter
Taught by Gregorio Amicuzi and Viviana Bovinon (Residui Teatro) and
Monica de la Fuente (LAB-India and Cia. Monica de la Fuente)
After the collaboration between LAB-India, the performing arts laboratory of Casa de la India and Residui Teatro International Laboratory in the PRAANA project, a collective workshop is presented within the framework of the International Congress on Tagore, based on the idea that the performing arts are a tool for personal and social transformation.
We will accompany the participants to cross a possible bridge between the simple “act of breathing” to the “responsible actions”.
Theoretical-practical content:
- The art of breathing, from conscious breathing to the conscious body.
- The wisdom of the body I. Physical and expressive principles in classical Indian dance and theatre
- Body awareness II. Physical and expressive principles in contemporary dance theater
- Bridges: from stage presence to social presence. Find the here and now of oneself in order to find the other.
